For over a decade the Palm Beach County Environmental Coalition (PBCEC) has been a coalition of environmental groups in Palm Beach County that unite forces on pending projects threatening the area. Groups currently in the coalition include the Loxahatchee Sierra Club, the PBC Green Party and Everglades Earth First! PBCEC has been fighting Scripps since it first tried to develop in Mecca farms and lost in the early 2000’s.
